Step 1 |
Mix the cornstarch and water in a sturdy saucepan over low heat until smooth. |
Step 2 |
Add the berries and sugar and cook until thick and transparent. Stir in the lemon juice and cool. This syrup will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks and makes a lovely blue gift. |
