Chocolate Chip Pistachio Cookies

Ingredients

3 1/4 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 (3 ¾ oz.) pkg. pistachio flavor instant pudding an
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Add flour mixture until blended. Do not over mix.

By hand, mix in pistachio pudding mix, chocolate chips, and nuts, if desired. Shape by rounded teaspoonsful into balls on sheet, about 2 1/2 inches apart. Flatten dough with dampened bottom of drinking glass. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Makes 7 dozen.

TESTER'S NOTE: These cookies do not get very brown.
