Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients

1/2 pound medium spaghetti, cooked al dente
2 cups Emmentaler cheese, shredded
Black Forrest Ham, diced

Preparation

1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2
Grease medium casserole dish lightly with Your favorite high temp. oil.
3
Place a half inch layer of spaghetti on the bottom.
4
Place a layer of the ham, don't overdue.
5
Sprinkle with spices to taste (I combine them until I like the taste first).
6
Sprinkle on a layer of the Emmentaler, again not too much, this dish will be rich.
7
Repeat the layers one more time.
8
Spread the last of the spaghetti on top and cover with the remaining Emmentaler.
9
Bake for 30 to 40 min. checking frequently. Do not let the cheese brown or it will be bitter (I cover with aluminum after 15 to 20 min.)
10
Grate some parmesan over the top and have lots extra.

About

This Dish is a classic left over dish, substitute just about any left over meat for the ham and serve with Your
favorite green salad. (I get a lot of grief over this, but I love a little ketchup on mine to simulate tomato sauce).
