package (8-oz) cream cheese, room temperature |

tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature |
⅛ |
teaspoon ground cinnamon |

very thin slices of bread |
1 |
cup firm, ripe strawberries, hulled and thinly-sliced |

Step 1 |
Cream together cream cheese, butter and cinnamon. Lightly spread on bread slices. |
Step 2 |

Lightly sprinkle strawberries with granulated sugar; top with remaining slice of bread. |
Step 4 |

Step 5 |
Place sandwiches in a pan lined with a damp paper towel; cover with other damp paper towel and cover with plastic wrap. |
