Yield: 32 tea sandwiches

[edit] Ingredients

package (8-oz) cream cheese, room temperature

1

tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature

teaspoon ground cinnamon

16

very thin slices of bread

1

cup firm, ripe strawberries, hulled and thinly-sliced

granulated sugar

Step 1

Cream together cream cheese, butter and cinnamon. Lightly spread on bread slices.

Step 2

Arrange strawberries on 8 slices of the bread.

Step 3

Lightly sprinkle strawberries with granulated sugar; top with remaining slice of bread.

Step 4

Trim crust and cut each sandwich into 4 triangles.

Step 5

Place sandwiches in a pan lined with a damp paper towel; cover with other damp paper towel and cover with plastic wrap.
