Wake Me Up Ribeyes

Ingredients

tablespoon Salt
tablespoon Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne
1/2 teaspoon Ground Thyme
3 (12 oz.)s Ribeyes, Trimmed
1/2 stick Butter
1/6 Cup Worchesteshire

Preparation

Combine the dried ingredients in a bowl

Make sure they are blended well

Rub onto both sides of steaks

Keep steaks, rubbed, in fridge for 8 hrs.

When getting ready to eat, take steaks out for half an hour

After they've sat out for a bit, Heat a cast iron skillet

Into hot skillet add

Butter

Worchesteshire

Put prepared steaks in skillet

Sear on each side for 7 minutes

You may sear longer for less rare steaks

Serve hot and sizzling -

The coffee in the rub serves as a tenderizer, and gives your steaks a nutty, smokey taste - It's a fabulous way to do steaks in the winter, when it's too cold to cook outside on the grill. This is the BEST way to do ribeyes, bar none! Enjoy.
