Ingredients

shortening
cup
sugar

eggs
teaspoon
salt
cup nuts, chopped

flour
1 teaspoon
baking powder
teaspoon
baking soda
1 cup ripe
bananas
, mashed
Preparation

Cream
shortening, sugar and eggs well. Add flour that has been sifted with
baking
soda,
salt
and
baking powder.
Add to shortening mixture. Add bananas and
mix
well.
Stir
in nuts. Pour into a well-greased loaf pan.

Bake
at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Makes 1 loaf.
