Yield: 6 servings

pkt Frozen French-cut green beans

½

cup Butter

2

tablespoons Brown sugar

2

teaspoons Garlic, minced

3

tablespoons Dry white wine

½

teaspoon Salt

½

teaspoon Black pepper

1

small jar (large) onions

½

cup Slivered onions

Step 1

Cook green beans according to directions; drain. Melt butter & stir in sugar, garlic, wine & spices. Add drained onions & continue to simmer 20-30 minutes, spooning sauce over onions from time to time. Add beans & almonds & heat gently.

Step 2

Serves 6.
