Strawberry-Banana Salad

Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry-banana Jello
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 ripe banana (mashed)
cup crushed pineapple (drained)

Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in strawberries until they separate. Add pineapple and mashed banana. Pour half the mixture into a 5 or 6 cup mold. Chill, leaving the rest of the mixture at room temperature.

When mold is firm, spread the sour cream over the first layer and pour the remaining mixture over the sour cream. Cover and refrigerate. (An 11x13 pyrex dish may be used in place of a salad mold.)
