teaspoon veg oil |

lrg onion thinly sliced |

teaspoon sugar |

lrg heirloom tomatoes sliced 3/8" |

cup chopped pecans Vinaigrette |

tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
2 |
tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
¼ |
cup coarsely chopped fresh herbs parsley, tarragon and chives |

teaspoon salt |
¼ |
teaspoon fresh ground pepper |

Step 1 |
1 Heat veg oil in large skillet over med heat till hot. Add onion; cook 5 min or until softened and lightly browned. Add sugar; stir to coat onions. Cokk an additional 4 min or until golden brown. |
Step 2 |
2 In small bowl, whish together vinegar and olive oil. Whisk in herbs, salt and pepper. |
Step 3 |
3 Arrange tomato slices on serving platter, drizzle with vinaigrette. Top with onions; sprinkle with pecans. |
