[edit] Ingredients

cup ½ prepared or homemade mayonnaise

cup ¾ chopped sorrel-sheep, wood, mountain or garden sorrel

tablespoons chopped parsley

1

tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon, dill, or fennel fronds

1

small clove garlic, mashed or finely grated

2

tablespoons minced shallots

pinch salt

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together.

Step 2

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for flavors to blend.

Step 3

Serve with Butter Clam Fritters
