  • 12 ounce chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg. 14 oz. coconut
  • 24 large marshmallows
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg. 3 oz. sliced almonds
  • 1 mix 2-layer chocolate cake mix

Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions for a 10 x 15 inch cake pan.

In a saucepan, bring 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup sugar to a boil.

Stir in marshmallows until melted.

Add coconut to the mixture.

Pour the marshmallow-coconut mixture evenly over the warm cake.
