skinned and boned chicken breasts |

tablespoons olive oil |

clove garlic, minced |

small onion, minced |
1 |
(1-inch) piece ginger root, minced |

cup shelled, roasted, unsalted peanuts, pulverized in a blender or chopper |

tablespoon soy sauce |
1 |
teaspoon tumeric |
juice of 1 lime |

chili peppers or other hot peppers (minimum), minced |

cup water |

large onion, cut into rings |

tablespoon olive oil |
rice, to serve |

Step 1 |
Cut chicken into small cubes. Saute chicken in oil until cooked. Remove from heat. |
Step 2 |
In a blender, put garlic etc. to water ingredients and set on "destroy." Blend until smooth. |
Step 3 |
Put mixture in double boiler, cover and cook till somewhat thickened (at least 20 minutes). |
Step 4 |
Slice remaining onion into rings; saute in remaining oil until translucent. |
Step 5 |
Make rice. |
Step 6 |
Mix chicken and sauce. |

This dish should be spicy. If not, add more peppers the next time. This is a fairly easy satay, though you will need a need a blender, a double boiler (or reasonable facsimile) and the driving desire to cook the perfect meal for your loved-ones.
