cup Maple syrup

¼

cup Dried cranberries

2

teaspoons Orange zest, julienned

2

Ripe red pears, cored, quartered

4

Dried apricot halves

[edit] Preparation

Step 1

This one is delicious and is only 3% fat. Wish all desserts that were as deletable as this one had only 3% fat. From Vegetarian Times, VEGAN

Step 2

In small pan over low heat, heat maple syrup (do not boil, trust me on this) Add cranberrries and zest. Keep warm until ready to serve. Reassemble pear quarters into two pear shapes using apricot to hold tops and bottoms together. The apricots are sticky enough and spongy enough to hold the reassembled pear together.) This is best done is small, shallow bowls. Pour syrup over pears Serves 2. 254 cal, 1 g fat
