Ingredients
Matjessill
Swedish
1 can matjes
herring
cup chopped
chives
1 cup creamfil or
sour cream
Preparation

Drain the herring and
cut
in
serving
pieces.

Slide a spatula under the herring and transfer to an oblong
serving
dish
so that the
fillets
look whole.

Chill
and
garnish
with dill sprigs if desired.

Serve
with hot new dill potatoes chopped chives and creamfil or
sour
cream
.

Sliced
green pepper and
sliced
red or yellow onion may also be
served
with maties herring.
