Ingredients

1 cup All Bran
1 cup Shredded Wheat, sm. biscuits, break them up
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oil
3 cups sugar
5 cups flour
5 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Use a big bowl with a cover. Add 1 cup warm water to the following: 1 cup All Bran, 1 cup Shredded Wheat and 1 cup oatmeal. Cream 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup oil and 3 cups sugar. Add 4 eggs, one at a time. Add cereal mixture. Alternate flour mixture (flour, soda and salt) with 1 quart buttermilk to cereal mixture. Mix well. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Do not use paper liners. Muffin mix will keep 2-3 months in refrigerator covered.
