Turkey & Veggie Burger Wraps

Ingredients

15 oz can black beans, drained (I used seasoned)
1 small onion (about ⅓ cup)
1/2 red pepper (about 3 Tablespoons)
1 cup broccoli
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric (optional)
salt& pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

Cut the broccoli into small pieces and microwave in a covered dish with 2 Tablespoons of water for about 5 minutes or until tender.

Set aside to cool.

When cool, use a fork to cut pieces up very small.

Grate the onion and red pepper.

Semi-smash the beans.

Mix all ingredients well in a large mixing bowl.

Form into about 8 oblong patties.

Heat oil in a large skillet or griddle. Cook patties about 4 minutes on each side or until browned to desired doneness.

Top with all the regular hamburger fixings your family likes and wrap it up in a whole wheat tortilla.
