Peanut Butter Cake and Frosting

Ingredients

Cake
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1 cup butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups sugar
1 pkt chocolate chips (6 ounces)
1/2 cup Butter or margarine
1/2 cup To ¾ cup sifted confectioners sugar
1 1/4 cups Peanut butter

Preparation

In large bowl mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda. In small bowl mix eggs and buttermilk. Bring peanut butter, water, and butter to a rapid boil. Pour boiling mixture over dry mixture and mix well. Add buttermilk and egg mixture. Pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. Cool.

FOR FROSTING: Melt chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler. Add confectioners sugar and peanut butter and beat until smooth. Chill for about 15 minutes or until frosting is of spreading consistency.
