Old Time Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup molasses
2 teaspoons white vinegar
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
extra sugar for rolling cookies in.

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.

Mix ingred. in order given.

Form into small balls.

Roll in sugar.

Criss cross with fork.

Bake 12 minutes.

Store in tin box to retain chewy consistency.
