Cut cob from top to bottom. Just cut to half kernels. Scrape the remaining kernels. You need 2 cups of corn or (2 cans of canned corn). Put the corn in a large bowl and sprinkle with sugar and salt. Add the other ingredients.
Place the pan in larger pan with 1 inch of water. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean. Remove water before serving. Custard will be a buttery soft-set gel.
