Shark Juice

Ingredients

1 seedless watermelon
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tablespoons sugar

Preparation

Cut a wedge from one end of the watermelon. Using a large spoon, spoon out the melon, leaving a thin layer of red on the inner rind. Remove any seeds.

In a blender or food processor, blend watermelon, and lime juice. Taste, then add sugar to bring to desired level of sweetness. Strain through a fine strainer. Reserve in refrigerator.

Slice off about a 1/4-inch layer from the bottom so that the melon doesn't roll over. Carve watermelon into the shape of a shark's head, or simply slice off top and make it a bowl. Add juice back to your watermelon vessel, and serve.

To make a hand-shaped ice block, fill a latex surgical glove with water and tie up the end. Toss in freezer. When it is frozen, remove glove.
