Aunt Lorraine's Strawberry Pie

strawberries

hot
water
1/2 cup
cup sugar.(if
fruit
is quite sweet, use ½ su
gar)
1/2 cup
whipping cream,
already whipped and sweetened
1/4 cup
light Caro
Syrup
1 box
strawberry
jello
1
baked
pie shell
Preparation
1
Combine hot water, sugar, and Karo syrup in a pan,
Boil
until thick. Remove from
heat
and add jello. Put the fresh berries in a pie
shell
and poor the mixture over them.
Chill.
Garnish
with
whipped
cream.
