Step 1 |
In a kettle, cook ground beef with onion, celery and garlic until browned. |
Step 2 |
Add tomatoes with their liquid, beef broth, tomato paste and seasonings. |
Step 3 |
Simmer for 1 hour and add 1-2 cans of red beans if desired. Serve over buns with saltines or tortillas; or melt cheese over the top, spread with salsa and enjoy. |
