The Gourmet Butcher's Fancy Burgers (Grind It Yourself)

Ingredients

2 pounds lean chuck- best quality
5 strips of bacon
1/2 cup mushrooms
beef seasoning (like Montreal spice)

Preparation

BACON CHEDDAR BURGERS

To each pound of meat, add 4-5 strips of bacon and grind it all together.

Place into a bowl and sprinkle in shredded cheddar cheese to taste; I prefer about ¼ pound of cheese cause I like things cheesy (have you been reading my jokes?)

Form into four ¼ pound patties and grill.

MUSHROOM SWISS BURGERS

Season one pound of lean beef with your favorite beef seasoning (I like Montreal hamburger spice).

Add ½ cup of dried or fresh mushrooms (fresh are better) like portabellas or cremini.

Grind up together.

Place into a bowl and sprinkle in ¼ cup shredded Swiss cheese.

Form into four ¼ pound patties and grill.
