[edit] Ingredients

1

cup plain yogurt

8

cloves garlic

2

tablespoons ginger root, chopped

2

teaspoons Ancho chile powder

Sea Salt to taste

3

pounds chicken, cut into 8 pieces

1

lemon, cut into 4 large wedges

Step 1

Put a couple tablespoons of yogurt into your blender and add the garlic and ginger.

Step 2

Blend until smooth. Add remaining yogurt and spices and mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Place the chicken into a zip lock bag and pour the mixture into the bag. Shake gently to coat and allow the chicken to marinate over night.

Step 4

Grill the chicken over hot coals until done, about 45 minutes depending on your grill.

Step 5

Serve with lemon wedges on the side or squeeze juice over the chicken just before removing from the grill.
