Fresh Fruit Dip

Ingredients

8 ounces plain yogurt
1/4 cup applesauce -- unsweetened
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon -- or nutmeg or 3 cups sliced fresh fruit - pineapple, strawberries,

Preparation

In a small bowl stir together yogurt, applesauce, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger. To serve, spear fruit with toothpicks, then dip into yogurt mixture.

My husband and I really enjoyed having a healthy alternative to all of the super-sugary fruit dips out there. Do you have any ideas as to how to thicken it up a bit?
