cups sifted flour

teaspoons baking powder

teaspoon salt

teaspoon mace

eggs

cup salad oil

cup white sugar

¼

cup brown sugar

teaspoons grated lemon peel

2

teaspoons lemon juice

¼

cup white sugar

½

teaspoon nutmeg

¼

teaspoon mace

edit Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and mace. combine remaining ingredients and beat until thick. Stir in dry ingredients and beat until thick. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Combine sugar, nutmeg and mace. Lightly butter bottom of a glass. Dip in sugar mixture and press cookies flat. Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees.
