Husband Cake
Ingredients
3/4 cup Crisco
1 cup tomato soup
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cloves
1/2 cup dates
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 lg. pkg. cream cheese
1 egg yolk
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Bake about an hour at 350 degrees.
