Cabbage With Sour Cream

Ingredients

4 tablespoons butter
1 head cabbage (about 4 pounds), shredded
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation

Melt the butter in a large skillet.

Add the cabbage.

Saute for 15 minutes, stirring frequently, but do not allow the cabbage to brown.

Add the salt, pepper, and sugar. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes without browning.

Beat the egg, sour cream, and lemon juice together.

Pour over the cabbage, stirring constantly.

Serve once everything is heated through (do not allow it to boil)
