Maple Glazed Pork

Ingredients

4 Pork loin chops, bone in, 1 inch thick, patted dry
2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
1/4 cup Plus 2 Tbs. maple syrup
1/2 cup Brown sugar

Preheat oven to 450 F. Season pork with salt and pepper to taste. Dredge pork in flour and shake off excess. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over high heat. Add butter and sear chops 4-5 minutes, turning frequently, or until browned. Transfer pork to a shallow roasting pan and bake 10-15 minutes or until pork is just cooked throughout. Place pork chops on broiler pan. Top each pork chop with brown sugar. Broil 1 minute or until pork chops are glazed and sugar has turned dark brown.

Serve chops with sauce.
