brandy

1 teaspoon bicarb of
soda
teaspoon
nutmeg
, ground
teaspoon
cinnamon
, ground
Preparation

Chop
dates and raisins.

Pour milk over sago and allow to
soak
for 3-4 hours in refrigerator.

Add all other ingredients to milk and tapioca and
blend
thoroughly. Pour into a greased pudding basin, cover and
steam
for 3 hours.

Sago is also called tapioca.
