- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup juice (add water to make 1 cup)
- 2 cup sour red cherries (save juice)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour

Step 1
Mix together first 6 ingredients and pour into 9x9 baking dish.

Mix cherries, juice and sugar together and pour on top of batter, spreading evenly.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
