Sausage - Cheddar Quiche

Ingredients

1 pastry (9 inch) deep dish
1 pound sausage (hot)
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon whole basil leaves
Dash of garlic
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Cook sausage until browned, drain well. Combine sausage with mushrooms, onion, green pepper, parsley, basil leaves, garlic and salt. Spoon into pastry shell and top with cheese. Beat together eggs and milk. Pour evenly over cheese, sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until quiche is set.
