cup Lemon juice |

Egg yolks, beaten |

cup Flour, all-purpose |

cup Water, heated |

stk butter |

Step 1 |
Mix sugar and flour; add lemon juice and mix until smooth. Add eggs and mix well. Add hot water gradually and cook until smooth and thick over low heat - stir with a wooden spoon. Add butter and beat until ready to spread. |

NOTES : Drys quickly once it starts! |

Enough for 3-9" layers if spread thin |
