pounds soup bones or 1 lb beef short ribs |

quarts water |

teaspoon salt |

teaspoon celery salt |

small onion chopped |
1 |
cup carrots diced |
½ |
cup celery diced |

cups potatoes diced |
1 |
pound can whole kernel corn undrained |
1 |
pound can tomatoes or home canned cut up |

turnips peeled, chopped fine |

Step 1 |
Place the meat, water, salts, onions, carrots and celery in crock pot. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours. |
Step 2 |
Remove bones, chop meat and return to pot. Add potatoes, corn, tomatoes and turnips. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours more. |
