Ingredients
4 tbsp.s
oil
1 lg.
onion
, chopped
2
cloves
,
garlic
, chopped
1 c. coarse
bulghur
wheat
4 oz.s
tomato sauce
1 tsp.
salt
1/2 tsp.
white pepper
2 1/2 c.s
water
Preparation
1
Fry
onion in oil. Add garlic;
fry
well. Add bulghur wheat and
fry
well. Dilute tomato sauce in water. Pour over bulghur mixture. Add
seasonings.
Bring to a
boil.
Lower the
heat
to
simmer
and cook covered about 15 minutes, until tender.
