Oregano Lemon Chicken

*For a deeper flavor, marinate the chicken in the lemon juice mixture for a few hours or overnight.

*I'm serious about that aluminum foil. This girl knows from unfortunate experiences.
Maple Syrup can be substituted for the honey.

Ingredients

6 chicken thighs
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons dried oregano

Preparation

Place the chicken in a greased (preferably line it with aluminum foil, baked on honey is not fun to scrape off) 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish.

Combine the lemon juice, honey, oil, garlic and oregano; pour over chicken.

Bake, uncovered at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 180 degrees F and chicken juices run clear, basting occasionally with pan juices.
