grams Brussels sprouts, trimmed (12oz) |

grams Butter, (1oz) |

Rashers smoked streaky bacon, chopped |

grams Cooked and peeled chestnuts, halved (7oz) |

Salt and freshly ground black pepper |

Step 1 |
Place the Brussels sprouts into a large pan of boiling water and cook for 5-8 minutes until just tender. |
Step 2 |
Melt the butter in a large frying pan and add the bacon. Fry until crispy. |
Step 3 |
Add the chestnuts and drained sprouts and cook for a further minute mixing well. Add seasoning to taste. |
Step 4 |
NOTES : A traditional festive way to serve Brussels sprouts. |
