Ingredients

grated zest of 1 1/2 lemons (make sure no white is left on the rind, as it will make the taste bitter)
1 bottle (750 ml) vodka

Preparation

Add the zest to the vodka and infuse for at least 43 hours but no more than 12 days at room temperature. Strain and chill.
