Baked Fish With Parsley And Garlic

Ingredients

2 mediums Fish of your choice - I used Red Snapper
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Handful of Garlic cloves, minced
small bunch of Parsley, chopped
Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon Cumin
1 tablespoon Sumac
2 mediums Onions, sliced

Preparation

1
Prepare the filling by chopping up the parsley and mincing the garlic, add olive oil, mix in the cumin and sumac.
2
Fill the fish with the parsley and garlic mix inside the cavity.
3
Put the sliced onions in the bottom of the baking pan, the onions prevents the fish from sticking to the pan and adds nice flavor to the recipe. Coat it with spray oil or you may use olive oil.
4
Place the fish on top of the onions. Bake in a 200 degrees Celsius oven for 12-15 minutes until the fish becomes flaky. Do not overcook otherwise the fish becomes too dry.

About

Serve warm with fresh bread. Bon Appétit! Although I got the fish already washed and prepared for cooking at the grocery store, but I washed with water, then I rubbed Olive Oil and Lemon Juice all over the fish and inside too to get rid of the fishy smell- Usually if the fish is fresh it will not smell bad at all, but I still wash it this way
