Ingredients

1 cup dry beans
3 qt. water
1/4 cup rice
1 pound can tomatoes
1 or more potatoes
6 carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1 med. onion
1 pound hamburger

Preparation

Cook 5 minutes, let stand for 1 hour.

Brown hamburger and add to the rest of the soup and cook for an hour. You may have to add more water.
