Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
2 eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 large tomato sliced
1 cup chopped parsley

Preparation

Combine ground beef, olive oil, onion, salt, pepper, oregano, eggs, breadcrumbs, and parsley in a large bowl and mix with your hands.

Divide mixture and form 6 patties.

Place patties in a pyrex and place a piece of sliced tomato on each patty.

Heat the broiler at 500 degrees and cook for 30 minutes or until desired.
