1 pound Salt Cod

Preparation

Pick salt codfish in long thin strips. Freshen salt cod by standing for an hour in lukewarm water, change the water 2-3 times and repeat until desired salt level is achieved. Place on a greased wire broiler, and broil until brown on one side; turn, and brown the other. Remove to platter, and spread with butter.
