[edit] Ingredients

Quails, halved and boned 8

¼

cup Honey 50 mL

¼

cup Soy sauce 50 mL

1

teaspoon Hot chili paste 5 mL

1

teaspoon 5 spice powder 5 mL

1

bn Fresh Italian parsley 1

[edit] Preparation

Step 1

Pat quail dry and place in a shallow baking dish.

Step 2

Combine honey with soy sauce, hot chili paste, 5 spice powder and cilantro in a small bowl. Pour over quails and rub in well. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator a few hours.

Step 3

Cook on the barbecue, in a grill pan or under the broiler for about 5 minutes per side or until just cooked through.

Step 4

Arrange parsley on serving platter and place quail on top.

Step 5

NOTES : Makes 8 servings
