Iris's Tokyo-Style Ramen

Ingredients

1 package Ramen (Do not use the seasoning packet) :Preferably Ichiban, but you can use any form of ramen, dried or frozen.:
3 cups of water
1 tablespoon chopped white onion
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 1/2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
1 strip Nori

Preparation

Put everything excluding the noodles, nori, and hard boiled egg into a pot bring to a boil.

Turn the heat down to medium and boil for about 10 more minutes.

Remove the Pork or Chicken slices from the pot or saucepan and add noodles.

Turn heat back up and bring the contents of the pot to a boil again for 3 minutes.

Add Pork or Chicken slices, nori, and hardboiled egg back onto the top (or mixed into) the soup.
