cups flour

2

teaspoons salt

5

tablespoons shortening

Step 1

Mix flour and salt in bowl. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Add 3/4 cup hot water. Knead to mix well. Pinch off 2 inch pieces. Roll on floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cook on greased hot griddle. Yield: 1 1/2 to 2 dozen.
