Mirepoix
About
Mirepoix is the basis of many French dishes, sometimes called the "holy trinity." Use it to start sauces, stocks, roasts, stuffings, soups, and stews. Mirepoix can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator or frozen.
Optional ingredients include:
-Thyme
-Diced ham
