Ingredients

1 tablespoon softened butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Knead butter and flour together with your hands until it forms a dough

You can scale this recipe easily as long as you keep the butter and flour ratio 50/50.

Keep your beurre manie wrapped and fridged. Stir it into warm soups to thicken.
