Grape Tomatoes With Capers

Ingredients

3 tablespoons drained small capers
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
6 lrg fresh basil leaves shredded
Bibb lettuce leaves (optional)

Preparation

Stir together first 5 ingredients. Drizzle over tomatoes, tossing to coat. Let stand at least 15 minutes or up to 1 hour.

Sprinkle with basil and cheese. Serve over lettuce, if desired.
