Bring tomatoes to a boil. Add pinch of soda after tomatoes begin to boil. Add sugar and salt. Have ready milk and flour which have been shaken together. When tomatoes have began to boil add milk mixture, stirring constantly. When it begins to thicken add 3 to 4 slices of toasted bread which has been cut in small pieces.
