Pineapple Date Dessert

Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup nuts
2 cups (or lg.) Cool Whip
1 sm. jar cherries

Preparation

Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add next 4 ingredients and blend well. Add next 3 ingredients and blend well. Fluff Cool Whip and fold into mixture. Chill in large bowl or individual dessert dish. Top with cherries.
